Three months spent backpacking around Italy and Europe in a wheelchair – called Porsha, gave Anna a love for going on road trips! As a disabled person, Anna is very aware of the challenges of getting out and being able to participate in the community. She firmly believes it is good for the soul top have adventure and fun – not just reading other people’s postcards!
Anna is the Community Development Co-ordinator for CCS Disability Action in Queenstown and is actively involved in improving access for disabled people in the Wakatipu region.
She has extensive experience delivering workshops and working in the disability sector, including co-presenting the national “Living the Good Life” workshops (working with families and disabled people to develop positive goals for the future). She is a board member of Workbridge – an organisation that supports disabled people find employment.
Anna has a MBS Degree in Communications and has worked in various communications/public relations roles.
Anna lives in Queenstown with her husband Bruce and 5 year old son Kyle.
